Dr. Scott Jahn and his team at Form and Function Corrective Chiropractic hold a toy drive called “Santa’s Gift Bag” every year to help homeless kids and kids from poor families feel the love and warmth of the holiday season.
When they first announced about this year’s Toy Drive a month ago, they said they wanted to give 20 toys to children in Brgy. Luz who wouldn’t have gotten gifts otherwise.
As the weeks went by, the Toy Drive, which we called “Santa’s Gift Bag,” picked up speed, and the members of Form and Function Corrective Chiropractic worked together to not only meet, but far exceed, their expectations in every way!
Form and Function Corrective Chiropractic’s “Santa’s Gift Bag” grew from a small box into a big sack that made at least 100 kids from the Community Scouts Youth Guidance Center, The Children of Cebu Foundation, and the neighborhood of Brgy. Luz, Cebu City, feel happy, hopeful, and loved!

It just shows that even in the middle of the pandemic, people are still in the holiday spirit of giving.
“Santa’s Gift Bag” toys are more than just a way to keep kids busy. Toys not only help kids have fun, but they also help them feel better by giving them a sense of normalcy and a way to play in a creative way that helps them relax. Some kids have been forced to act like adults too soon, taking on adult responsibilities and taking care of themselves in dangerous and unstable places. With some toy-driven fun, they can get in touch with their inner child again.
Form and Function Corrective Chiropractic would like to thank its practice members in particular for their generous donations, as well as everyone who took the time to bring in toys and help make the holidays special for many children in and around the Brgy. Luz neighborhood this year.
Form and Function Corrective Chiropractic hopes that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and a great New Year.
